As neon nails and pastel eye shadow slowly seem to pass, we welcome moody and muted shades. So we wanted to inform you of the gorgeous colors that will greet us with the Autumn winds. Chanel has released their Fall 2010 makeup collection that includes greys, deep plums, and smoldering khakis. Chanel has been a leader in nail polish trends for the past few years. LeVernis Nail Colour in Paradoxal, a dark gray violet that Chanel has claimed to be, " the new statement maker of the season ".

Matte nails will be making it's way to fashionistas nails this Fall. The look has no shine and appears to have a Gothic resemblance. I tried a deep plum matte nail polish and I was pleased. My daughter thought it was done with a marker. Sephora, OPI, and Essie are three brands that have launched a matte nail polish collection. I would recommend this look if your nails are really short. Be sure to choose the right color to compliment your style and skin tone.
